PORTASTUDIO 30th Anniversary
Tascam DP-02

The DP-02 is based on Tascam’s popular DP-01 digital Portastudio™ that has been updated with a fresh new look, new effects, and an improved menu and display.

The DP-02 records to an 80-gigabyte internal hard drive and offers a pair of XLR mic inputs with phantom power as well as dedicated controls for volume, pan, high and low EQ per track. It is further equipped with a multieffect processor, stereo reverb, chromatic tuner and a slot-type CD burner for CD masters and song backup and features workstation-style editing and a USB 2.0 port for computer backup or external processing.

The DP-01 was a huge success for Tascam because musicians could record digitally as easily as they did with their first cassette 4-tracks recorder. The DP-02 Portastudio stands by this tradition and adds the comfort and sound quality achieved by modern digital recording technology.
