The US-125M is a USB
audio interface with mixer functionality. It combines a
mic, instrument and line source with a computer audio
signal and feeds the mix to a computer via USB. With
sample rates of up to 48 kHz at 16-bit audio resolution,
this unit is ideal for broadcasting (live streaming) over
the internet, or it can be used as a stand-alone mixer.
The US-125M weighs a mere 500 grams, is housed in a
compact aluminum case and USB-powered which means an
additional AC adapter is not required.
Tascam audio interface for iPad, iPhone and iPod
16 March 2012 With the iU2, Tascam have released an audio/MIDI interface that allows users of iOS devices to create premium quality audio recordings on the way. With a shiny black finish and low weight of only 200 grams, this little box offers a balanced stereo input with phantom power for microphones and line sources with levels up to 24 dB. The left channel can be switched to instrument level for direct connection of a guitar or bass guitar. Analogue and digital outputs, a separate headphones connector as well as MIDI in and out are also available. The iU2 allows zero-latency monitoring of the inputs and can also be used with a Windows or Macintosh computer. An appropriate 2-track recording application (Tascam PCM Recorder) can be downloaded from AppStore at no charge.
